Kuli like me, we always gotta carry this and that all around the place and it is inevitable that by the end of the day we will get cuts and bruises all over our body. Its kinda all in a day work, its in the package .... we got so used to it by now.
Today i got pierced by some woodchip when we were unloading some plywood from the truck and it went in bloody deep!
Kuli like me got very limited income, so instead of going to the doctor I plan to perform a minor DIY operation on myself.
This are the tools i can grab hold off and it will do, 1st you gotta sanitize this tools by burning them for a few seconds with fire from a lighter. Then I slow slow cut open my skin to reveal the piece of woodchip and grab it with a pair or tweezer.
This is the piece of bloody wood chip that gone into my finger. soli for the blurry photo ... my phone cam sucks!
Finally apply some disinfectant lotion and dress it up! I just save myself like RM50 bucks of medical fee .... all i hope now is the wound will not be infected only or else that will cost more me more than RM50!!!Kids, pls dont do this at home ok?

but using a needle to remove the wood pc will hurt less and abit of alcohol helps too
it happen to me few times d...i just took a nail cutter n kiap d whole skin out n nvr put bandage coz it doesnt bleed...... :)

ReplyDeletepls use alchohol next time, its a much better disinfectant. if you use fire, what do you think about the carbon left behind getting into your wound? plus its better to use needle la....blade and scissors can rust, ie can get tetanus from it.
