Actually this post is not entirely about hotels in Phuket islang one, I only spent 4 days and mainly in Patong Area therefore i really do not have alotsa information about the hotels in that area. I merely have a few images to share and of course if you are looking for accomodation/hotel in Phuket Island you can try searching the web.
I personally would recomend that you take the Air Asia "GO HOLIDAY" packages, a trip (inclusive of return Flights & Accomodation n blekfas for 4D3N) for 2 adults and 1 toddler cost us RM900+ (Excluding Tax) RM1,490+ (Inclusive of Tax & other misc charges) DAM worth it i tell you!!! Averagely its only RM300 per head! for the same price you cant even go to Langkawi!! (if u dunwan kira tax lar)
Not much peeple know that Airasia got their own "Free & Easy" travel packages, (at least lenglui LMF dunno Airasia got their own travel packages) you can find in their packages a numbers of different hotels that will cater for your budget.
I just "tried" to book another package to Phuket for 2 adults & 1 toddler again with the same hotel for 3D2N and you wont belif of the price i got from their website !!!! Here take a look!!!

Welokam to ThailandThe first thing you notice when you Q-ing up at the phuket immigration counter there is this auto tracking webcam. They will take your pikture wan! I no bruff you wan!
See? it says look at the camera, i goan stand behind the counter and watch them work and they really got take your pikture wan!This is where we stayed in : The Andaman Beach suites .... this place is a not those grand grand fehmes hotel but its comfy and clean and the staff is very very very very very very frendly. As the accmodation are included in the packages I cant tell you how much it cost to stay here but at that kinda price i m not complaining ler.
They have a medium size pool and also all the other basic amenities (you know lar those regular things like gift shop, spa etc...) not that i got time to lepak in the hotel also.

If you are going to Phuket I would advice that you stay in Patong area, this is where all the happenings place is located. In the above map I highlighted the area where all the hotels are located in "Blue" kaler .... if you stay around that area then everything is of walking distance only.

Patong or Pat-Kung ... this place really rawks! and its safe enuff for you to bring your kids come also! I done it so, it should be good for everyone right?

Yeah... now Air Asia got holiday packages, booking period 1-12 August... travelling period till 31 December 2006... I'm planning to go Bangkok or Chiang Mai, but now no kakis to go with me.
