DO NOT WASTE FOOD !!!! READ THIS !! ITS IMPORTANT!!!

When you are telling us "OH how much KFC chicken chop sucks! and how sucks is the food in that restaurant bla bla bla yada yada yada ..... "I bet you never seen the picutre below yet right? look at it a while and then ask urself this "What if you are him/her?" all the food in this world dont seems to be so bad after all huh?

The PHOTO in this article is the "Pulitzer Prize" winning photo taken in 1994 during the Sudan Famine. The picture depicts a famine stricken child crawling towards an United Nation Food camp, located a kilometer away.

The Vulture is waiting for the child to die so that it can eat it. This picture shocked the whole world. No one knows what happened to the child, including the photographer Kevin Carter who left the place as soon as the photograph was taken.

Three months later Kevin Carter commited suicide due to depression.

This was found in his diary,
Dear God, I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I pray that He will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery. I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests.

I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.

Please don't break.. keep on forwarding to our friends On this good day. Let's make a prayer for the suffering in anywhere any place around the globe and send this friendly reminder to others Think & look at this...when you complain about your food and the food we wasted daily........

MAKE YOUR PROMISE TODAY.....
"I WILL NEVER WASTE MY FOOD"

Now you all know how lucky you are! next time u throwing away food pls think of the Poor Sudan child, I bet none of you would think of them when you stuffing yourself aent you? Stop whatever you are doing right now and spend 5 minutes and look at the picture above .... ponder onnit.

I would like to thank my buddy 9393 for sending me this email. Its emails like this one that wakes me up from my stupid dreams and get me going!

  1. Diu lor...we just gave one big packet of expired/not nice food to the monkeys this evening. Like this got count as waste food anot? No mah hor? The king of the monkeys went to the plastic bags of foods, picked Maggi Sup Tulang and left the rest to his dou-dais monkeys. So cute, too bad it was dark so I cannot take video. We go during dark-dark hours cos can kena fine RM500 (or RM5,000) if we are caught feeding monkeys.

And the monkeys hor, know how to look left, right before running to our car. My #2 son scolded his younger brother, "See lah, monkeys oso know how to look left right before crossing road, not like you dumb ass." LOL, I hope to alleviate yr readers from getting depression, terus commit suicide and no one reads Rojakz anymore, with my comment.

  3. I think sometimes we all take things 4 granted until it is taken from us then we feel how lucky we are to have a peaceful and stable country, no matter tat it is crap and lack in standards or not up to some of our expectation at least we are still clothed, roof over our heads and food at the table everyday. We are blessed indeed. Count our lucky stars tat we are not living in mud huts and eating mud. Thx Wingz for reminding us. Cheers!

  5. Wingz....I know what happened to that kid. He did not make it to the UN food camp.

Although pictures like this are indeed very disturbing, one also got to know the complexities of african ppl, it's culture and politics that has led to such famine.
Many African nations has been seeking help for as long as anybody can remember.....USA For Africa...Do They Know Its Christmas....etc.

Genetically modified food that can grow in very harsh environment were offered, but was declined by many of their govts, leaving their own ppl to die. No food summore want to complain about GM food!....Tiu!!!

Did a little googling, the story is indeed sad. But the saddest thing is there are still people taking things for granted.

  7. i still remember when i was in my teens, i went for this camp, everytime before food, we have to do prayer or this thing called contemplation or something.

"...we take this food for the sustenance of our body.."

until today i still remember that.

but today i take this food for the sustenance of the baby in me...

    Oh yeah...think about Sudan child.
If your praying works, then you should STOP PRAYING for the children. Why don't start praying the god to pour some firestorm/sandstrom to fried/grind those f*cking warlords, politikus, etc!!!

It will save more children in the future.
